Billboard Advertisement and Racial Perception in Ghana

This paper examines why business people in Ghana prefer using images of white on their billboard outdoor advertisements. To attain the study’s objective, a cross-sectional survey was used. Data collected from only section retail and wholesale businesses within Ejisu Juaben districts Ashanti Region which use advertisement. The findings show that advertisements because they are more attractive than black people. Also, indicates seal professionalism, desirability, quality services. survey’s discovery reveals racial perceptions race comparison with by most African usage as symbolic representation ideal beauty, attractions, products services, model authentic marketization has unfolded some factors stymie utilization an contends there is necessity for balanced moral reasoning constructive perception self-identification.
